• Operations Research:  AUSGAR has provided specialized technical expertise to assist the PM staff in developing, analyzing, optimizing and updating the thermal vision capabilities.  We met with numerous vendors to ensure the best product was provided to enhance the C-IED capabilities for military forces.  As a result of these meetings, improvements to the original night vision capabilities were provided as part of the updated RCOS/Keyhole kits delivered to military units overseas. 

  • Equipment Evaluation:  The AUSGAR team developed the concept, researched the appropriate RCOS & Keyhole equipment and provided the technology expertise that provides military forces with key enhancements for day/night all weather C-IED operations. Government customer has acknowledged the expertise and insight that this contractor team has provided to ensure a quality product/kit is provided to Army, Marine Corps & Special Force units overseas. 

    We also took the initiative and evaluated the RCOS/Keyhole equipment overseas at a military C-IED facility in Afghanistan. AUSGAR evaluated standard surveillance techniques and documented our observations and findings.  The resulting report submitted to SSC-PAC provided detailed documentation of the effective capabilities of the RCOS/Keyhole equipment in a night limited visibility environment.
